Gender-Responsive Health Protection - News
Welcome to the project, Paradigm Shift!
With Paradigm Shift, FEMNET has won a new partner organization for the implementation of the project on gender-responsive health protection in India. The organisation is committed to human and labour rights and brings many years of experience in cooperation with workers, companies and political actors.
After we started the second phase of the project in November, we were faced with an unexpected challenge shortly afterwards: Due to increasing restrictions on civil society organisations in India, our previous project partner will no longer be able to implement the planned activities together with us. All the more we are pleased to have gained Paradigm Shift, an experienced organization for the continuation of the project work.
Paradigm Shift is a non-profit organization committed to strengthening human and labour rights. Together with various stakeholders, Paradigm Shift develops solutions to sustainably improve working conditions and strengthen the rights of employees.
The organization works primarily in India and Bangladesh, but also implements projects in other countries such as Vietnam and Pakistan. Paradigm Shift has extensive experience working with workers, factory owners and political actors. Her work is characterized by participatory, dialogue-based approaches.
Paradigm Shift's team not only brings valuable technical expertise and new perspectives to the project. At the same time, the previous project employees also switched to the new organization. This preserves important experiences, contacts and networks, and the project work can be continued seamlessly.
We are very much looking forward to working together in the coming years and to working together for decent working conditions, healthy workers and more gender equality in global supply chains.
